Strange: Woman Slept With Mum's Rotting Corpse For 5 Years

A woman in Blumenau Munich has been caught sleeping on the same bed with the corpse of her late mum for five years.

She was caught after neighbours became suspicious as the old woman had not been seen for sometime, and her daughter wouldn't let anyone in their house.

Police and firefighters were alerted and after a search on the house, the 83-year-old woman was found dead on the same bed her daughter slept on.

The 55-year-old woman admitted her mum died in 2009 and that she has been sleeping next to the rooting body for five years.

The unnamed woman has been taken away for psychiatric test while autopsy on the dead woman showed no foul play.
