Kanye West Demands that Apple Should cut Jay Z a Check for Tidal and “Let the Kids enjoy the Music”

 

 

Kanye West is once again very outspoken on Twitter.

The rapper shared his view on the on-going battle between streaming platforms – Apple and Jay Z’s Tidal.

Yeezy, along with acts such as Rihanna and Coldplay, signed on as part owners in the company.

Despite a number of high-profile exclusives (the most notable being Beyonce‘s ‘Lemonade’), the service lags by quite a margin behind market leader Spotify and Apple Music.

For a while now, there have been talks about Apple wanting to buy Tidal but Jay Z has reportedly refused to sell.

Now, it looks like Kanye’s irritation comes stems from the commercial downside of being on Team Tidal. He went on a rant on twitter in a bid to “broker peace between the two sides”.
